He hasnt banned me yet, but im not going to change the way I post. I like it that way, and I see no big deal, especialy to the point that I will be banned for doing it. So I'll be around till that happens, but I cant imagine it will be long now.

Well, if you change your mind and want a little help in the quote area...Just know that I'm more then willing to help there. I can't attest to your statements here, but I do know that personally how you use them makes it very difficult for others to use the quote feature itself in response to you.

You have a tendency to respond to them in their own quotes, so responding directly to your own responses requires opening up 2 pages and the person having to go back and forth between those pages to include your post plus their response. That eats up site space and can cause the site to temporarily close (you get a "this site is unavailable, try later" page). That means the site is literally down periods of time because so many people have so many pages within the site open at one time. It interfers with others participating in other topics as well as having an oppertunity to read/respond to you as well.

That just happened to me in fact, when I posted my response here to you...Took 15 minutes for the site to become available and I though my response was lost since the site went boom as I hit 'send'. I thought it would end up like yesterday, when there were loads of members on, and I couldn't read this site for over an hour...It took it that long to clear cookie space on the site, to allow more readers/responders as myself.

are you talking about using the quote at the bottom of the page,,if that the case why could the mod just tell him to use the quote button.

I dunno. I can't speak for the moderator's reasons, only they can. But the problem is from my own exprience, that although Preacher is using the quote feature at the bottom, he's not closing off each the quote sections he's responding to. This eats bandwidth for those responding to his posts, cause when they use the quote feature to respond, they get a blank cause the previous poster he was responded to isn't included to the new responder's quote feature.

Basically, when he responds in sections, he needs to close off the one section he answered to with a [ / quote ] (minus the spaces) then reopen the new section he'll respond to with either a (again, minus the spaces) [ quote ] or copy/paste the header quote opening of the person he's quoting in answer. That way, neat boxes to each individual section he's replying to are done so. And when a person responds to his origional response using their own quote feature, they are actually able to get his replies in quote as well without having to open a second window to respond. And then it doesn't tax the site's bandwidth in the process near as badly.

This creates bandwidth issues throughout the site when there's more then a handful of people on (remember, there's also spiders viewing the site. No less then 80 of them alone at one given time.)

But for some, it's hard to explain how to use the quote feature. I know it was hard for me myself, till some else took the time to teach me how to use one.

Surely there's some kind of check on Hev's power. Contact the other mods. You can't be banned for something as frivolous as the way you quote people. That's asinine.
