Not everyone joins the military for college money. I could have gotten scholarships. I joined because I believe in service to country, and I believe in supporting freedom and democracy around the world, which includes fighting the tyranny that is inevitable with socialism.

The socalist party has been voted into power for many decades now in Sweden. No tyranny has occurred and none on the horizon.

Isn't it fair to say that a large portion join the military to pay for college?

Believe me... I really don't want socialism in America. But I do think there are many good ideas from it that we can integrate into our current system that could create a new system that surpasses them both.

Yes. Even he understands what I am talking about in regards to Scandinavia. If Bin Laden was "attacking freedom", like Bush states, he would have gone after Sweden like the quote states above. They have more freedom than we do in America and it is under a SOCIALIST SYSTEM.

Yeah that worried me a bit too...

The quote is from a "press release" (or whatever you call it) that Bin Laden released after 9/11 in response to the propaganda Bush was spouting. You know "they hate our freedom" blah blah. Bin Laden really hit the nail on the head with the above comment in my opinion.
