This is actually pretty funny on a lot of levels.

1. Who gives a crap? Jeb Bush doesn't need an Honorary Doctorate any more than I do.

2. Partisan Politics is nowhere more present than in the heated Cat-Fight Arenas we call Colleges & Universities.

3. The fact that these professors and cry-babies hate Jeb Bush PROBABLY means that he's done some really GOOD things for education in Florida.


Even so, this is hardly news-worthy.

Some say the squabbles on U.S. university campuses are so ugly because the stakes are so low.
a) The Bush family is a U.S. political dynasty.
b) Two members of this family have already been U.S. President.
c) The U.S. Presidency may be Jeb's for the taking (if he should want it).

In that context, such news about this potential (though as yet certainly unannounced) U.S. Presidential candidate is indeed "news-worthy".

I'm not insisting that you enroll in Charm School or anything.
But have you considered applying the superlatively* low standard of according to other posters here the courtesy polite strangers have the right to expect from polite strangers at a bus stop?
