Anyone that has been to Niagara Falls should be able to attest to its grandeur. It is an awesome natural sight.
Yet despite the beauty of this natural wonder, there are some that claim the water to Niagara Falls is shut off at night.
Obviously that's absurd.
And yet, if you Google it, you may find Internet sights which contribute to this conspiracy.
Why are they doing this?
What have they to gain from it?
What other lies are they telling us?

TRUTH:
The Niagara Falls Hydro Power Plant controls & diverts up to 2/3 of the water from going over the falls whether day or night, and has the capability of shutting it right down, which they have done a few times, once in particular was to shore up the falls brink from natural erosion which can be several inches a year. | |
