...for what it is worth...........

if you are willing to have sex you have to be willing to deal with the end product..............unless there is rape or abuse involved in the conception or there are health reasons abortion is not an option.

Abortion is used too much as a form of birth control by lazy, uncaring, uneducated, selfish and me me me types who should be sterilised to halt the disgusting practice.

Just my twopennethworth.................

Yep, somebody has to 'force' the selfish, scum underclass because they have no self discipline, respect or worth unless led by the nose ......................

With all respect, I must tell you that you are flat out wrong. You see, most women that seek out abortion, have done so with much emotional turmoil and the pain of loss of a relationship with someone who would be support to her and the child. Either the father of the child or the parents of the young lady who is pregnant.

Abortion is not widely used as a lazy means of making birth control an afterthought.

You do a great disservice to any girl who might come to this forum looking for help, counsel, and comfort with such an attitude as you stated.

Took the words right out of my mouth. It's also interesting to note that the majority of teen mothers, among the most likely to get an abortion, carry the child to full term and raise it.

Very true. And it was my awareness that it is so, when I use to work at a homeless shelter for women.

But shouldn't the father have a right to decide if his child is to live or be terminated?

After all, once the child is born he has a legal obligation to care for it, at least financially

Compared to the father, the mother is far more physically and emotionally invested in the child. They're the ones that actually carry the child and feel the natural maternal bond to it.
