Level up: 41%, 117 Points needed | | I'm tired of the Bush Bashing! This from another thread: Quote: |
The Bush Crime Family Is The Most Destructive Group Of People In The History Of Mankind. The Bush Crime Family Makes Adolf Hitler Look Like A Boy Scout.
| As a supporter of the War on Terror, I am deeply offended by this. I would never in my life compare a person like Hitler to Bush, as Hitler was responsible for the systematic torture and murder of over 6 million Jews. Saying something like what I quoted here should never be posted online, especially when there is not the slightest bit of evidence to back it up. I would be careful, people, as there is a terror watch list out there. . .
I just question the motives of people who say things like that. I'm so ticked off right now that I may never even view this web site again, let alone post on it. It seems to me that whenever the War on Terror is brought up, a lot of people turn to bashing our president. I know. A lot of people hate our president. However, we are much safer now, with him in offiice. As a result of the Bush presidency, we haven't had a major terror attack in almost 6 years. I definitely give him the thumbs up there. Furthermore, I like Bush. He never backs down, regardless of the level of criticism and hatred on the part of democrats. I challenge the democrats who do in fact hate Bush to name just ONE thing that the guy has lied about. Just one thing!
I joined this site almost 6 months ago. I've tried to see where the "other side" is coming from. I've even tried to be friends with a few of them. However, after reading what I've been reading lately, it is very hard to "keep an open and tolerant mind."
It just seems to me that saying certain things about our president online not only dishonors him, but all the courageous men and women in History who have sacrificed in defending our freedom. . .
I hope and pray that the Dems lose in 2008, because they just don't seem to get what's at stake. Furthermore, I hope that the dems never win a major election again. And yes, if Jeb Bush runs for President someday, I will vote for him!
Thanks, and goodbye! |

Thanks, and goodbye! | Don't you dare compare that draft dodger with the brave men and women who defend our country!!! Stating the truth about President Bush is not a slam against the armed services, and you know it. Saying that is disingenuous at best, a straight out lie at worst. Tell me, did you consider yourself unAmerican when you slammed President Clinton (as I'm sure you, just like any other ostrich-like Bush supporter does)?
As for the number of terror attacks in the last six years? Give me a break!!!! We only had 1 up until then, for God's sake. Once again, a strawman argument.
Why can't you people just be honest and admit your man was, is and always will be a big mistake? |

Thanks, and goodbye! | Alot of people here suffer from one-dimensional thinking and hop on any bandwagon that is popular at the time. The truth is that most people don't have a clue as to what Bush is doing or has done. |

So, tell me, what good has Bush done in 6 1/2 years?
The list of 'bad' is so long, there isn't enough room on this board to post it all. |

I agree his Presidency has been pretty mundane, but comparing Bush with Hitler is ridiculous.
As for the "war on terror" let's not forget who was in charge and who failed to protect us on Sept 11, 2001
During the 2004 election Cheney said that electing a democrat to the White House would increase the chances of a terrorist attack.
Rather a sick comment considering he failed to stop one on 9/11
