Correct.
Royalties only occurr when someone uses a song for profit. Radio stations aswell as Internet radio stations gain profit from business sponsorships towards the station. The songs dont factor into the profit one bit so no royalties are paid.

Artist do not get royalties from songs played on radio or TV, however, radio and TV do pay royatie fees to songwriters and publishers. These royalties are paid quarterly in licensing fees that are paid by the radio and TV stations.

I don't think they should be censored.

I think they should tell the truth, or, barring that, have something in the way of a rebuttal to prove what was said isn't the truth.

It's sad that there are so many stupid people out there that don't research things for themselves and take what other people say as gospel.

I do think it's dishonest of some of these hosts who misrepresent themselves, though.

Yeah but since nearly all talk radio stations are conservative. The far left wing is fearing that since a growing number of people are listing to them(talk radio) that it will change voting and power far from their hold.
