ROTFLMAOL!!! And just when I thought you were starting to mature in your responses a tad bit...You throw this childishness in...

Braindead means there's no thinking, feeling, experiencing period. The brain is dead. Period. And the autopsy proved that what little brain she had (which wasn't even half of the mass it should have been), the portions that would have felt pain, discomfort, etc. were completly gone and liquid. The brain stem doesn't hold the function of feeling, thinking, or experiencing darling.

Terry Shiavo was not a "sick" person.

She was BRAIN DEAD.

The -- again, it's important to remember this is -- persistent vegetative state is a clinical diagnosis. It's not a pathologic diagnosis. The findings of Terri Schiavo are very consistent with persistent vegetative state.

I made the comparison in my report to Karen Ann Quinlan. Karen Ann Quinlan died 10 years after being in a persistent vegetative state. Her brain, Karen Ann Quinlan, weighed more than Terri Schiavo's brain weighed.

The typical things associated with persistent vegetative state are those normal functions of beating heart and breathing and no other types of cognitive function that occurs in the higher portions of the brain.

If you want to discuss starving "sick people to death", then perhaps you need to cite som evidence that anyone, anywhere is in favor of starving "sick people to death".

Oh, I forgot, you never cite any "facts".

You lost, Billy, hang it up!
Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.

Dead is dead.

Sick is not dead.

If you want to maintain that a braindead person is alive in any meaningful sense of the word, I am not going to further argue the point with you.

Allowing a braindead person to die from whatever cause is a moral crime on the level of stepping on an ant. If you are so overly emotional that you cannot see that point then there is no use in anyone trying to refute your belief through logic or evidence.

Thanks for proving my point. You cannot show me 1, I repeat not 1 place where a person with serious brain damage is not sick. I place zero value in your opinions or any opinions for that matter. That is why I use facts.

You have done nothing to prove that Terri Schiavo was not sick. You just want to play with semantics because you lost the debate. Letting someone dye slowly of starvation or dehydration is not humane. This means that Republicans are not humane.

Nobody but Terri knew what Terri was feeling. This is a fact. Everything else is just an opinion. Opinions are not facts. But I have always known that Republicans think their opinions are facts because they are very ignorant.

You're assuming she did, even though the medical records state the opposite darling. Your 'feelings' don't determine what her condition was, the medical records and transcripts do.

And they made it quite clear that she DIDN'T suffer or feel any distress/pain.

And just when I thought you were progressing, you now revert back to the old 'republican' comments?

The only one here thinking their 'opinion is fact' is yourself. All you've done is give your opinion and when the actual facts shown have disproven your opinion, you ignore it.

Now, go back to class darling. You really shouldn't be wasting your summer school time here posting your fantasies and inaccurate opinions. You should be using that time to actually learn something rather then imagine 'what could be'.

Medical Records are just that. Doctors opinions. I stated the only fact. Terri is the only person that knew what Terri was feeling. This is a fact not one of yours or anybody elses worthless opinions.

No, medical records are FACT. Terry was long gone from her body before the tubes were removed. And if her spirit felt anything, it was sadness at how long her family clung onto the empty shell she'd left behind.

But the physical part of her being didn't feel a thing. Because the physical portions of her brain had ceased feeling anything the moment she went into her vegetative state in 1990.

At least my opinion is backed up with facts that you've choosen to ignore. Unlike your opinions, which is alot of hot air but your incapble of showing one link that supports your opinion.

If I have to choose from your method (oh, I feel it's this way so it has to be so) or actually finding out from all the sources involved? I choose my method as it's not only the logical route, but the proven route.

All the facts state clearly that Terry was dead in ever sense of the word. Her body was only kept alive by the assistance of outside medical proceedures. And without the medical interference, she'd have died in 1990, not 2005.

Her family experienced alot of distress, pain, and discomfort, but Terry didn't.
