Ok, let me clarify a few things. This thread has to do with news coming from Iraq. Most of the stories coming from there are controlled by the administration's 'news office' at Fort Bragg. Bush had made some shitty choices lately and controlling the media on issues of his decisions, here at home, is not going to happen. There are to many people doing there own investigations now. Maybe he is getting bad stories written about him because some of them are true. His control over this is going to be limited because the state side reporter's stories are not censored in the name of 'national security'. I think the oil stories and figures are also tweaked.
Bush has made his own bed with the media here in the states.
I do think that all reporters have a political agenda and I agree this is wrong. The two party system is really at fault. Our governmental systems has been change over time and it is now easily abused, with the effects far reaching into our businesses and the media.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour

There are many men of principle in both parties in America, but there is no party of principle. ~Alexis de Tocqueville

Actually the news comes from embedded reporters. I agree about the two party system, if anything should go in the political process its only having two parties. I dont care if the winner has only 20 percent of the vote, its still a majority with more options for people to truly find a person who represents them the best.
