Cheney was smarter in 1994.
It seems that Cheney was much better at seeing the facts clearly in 1994, when talking about the first Persian Gulf war. He said that it would not have been smart to go into Baghdad then, because it would have resulted in chaos and a quagmire. Well, did he forget his reasoning in 2002 when deciding whether or not to unilaterally invade Iraq? What changed his mind and why would 9/11 have caused him to rethink his position? Could it have anything to do with having an administration in place that would give all the contracts to his cronies?

That was a great bit on Jon Stewart last week.

If it weren't for Jon Stewart, I would probably smash my television! Thankfully, he never lets that kind of thing go by without some attention. I mean why can't people see that they aren't being given consideration when it comes to how our country is being run? Cheney is the #1 example of a power drunk imperialist.
