Impeach Bush

Less than 18 hours ago, National Park Service Police turned a September 15 Press Conference, held in front of the White House, into a chaotic scene. On the pretext that there was no permit for a three foot long folding table that the media placed their microphones on, the police intervened in the middle of the press conference to announce that it was an unpermitted activity. Three people were arrested and are still being held in jail. They include Adam Kokesh, an Iraq war veteran; Tina Richards of Grassroots America; and Ian Thompson an ANSWER Coalition organizer.

Unlike the protestors, who I am sure are well aware of the laws regarding the use of a National Park. They failed to get a permit, and then cry when their press conference is interrupted about being surpressed.

Well what do you expect from people who break the law.......shifting the blame.

FYI, the impeachment process is what proves a crime.

Impeachment in the United States is an expressed power of the legislature which allows for formal charges to be brought against a civil officer of government for conduct committed in office. The actual trial on those charges, and subsequent removal of an official on conviction on those charges is separate from the act of impeachment itself: impeachment is analogous to indictment in regular court proceedings, trial by the other house is analogous to the trial before judge and jury in regular courts. Typically, the lower house of the legislature will impeach the official and the upper house will conduct the trial.

But therein lies the problem, in order to impeach, criminal conduct has to be shown. Sort of like needing evidence before issuing an arrest warrant. Time and again we hear the adminstration called evil and criminal, and time and again it is just rhetoric from those who disagree.

Prior to their elections the House and Senate Democrats talked about hearings, hearings and hearings, and impeaching............MORE HOT AIR!!!!!

Notice how the original poster state Bush Police........and then ended with IMPEACH THEM ALL!!!!!!

In between there was nothing!!!!!! A press conference was interrupted by park police because why?????? The people conducting the conference did not get a permit. Ignorance of the law is not a defense!!!!!!!!!!!! Which means that either they knew they needed a permit to hold their press conference, in which case they did not get one and set this up to make this outlandish claim......considering the fact that what 3 years ago, the whole tent city episode was in the news and one of the reasons the park police had them move was???? Lo and behold....no permit!!!! I would bet my money that this criminal group....and that is what they are for the purpose plotting to break the law and then did so.....has the nerve to say their opinions were being surpressed. GOD Fracking God.

I have no problem with your assessment of the press conference. I do think that you are leaving out some stuff about impeachment. All it takes to find out if there are impeachable crimes committed is a special investigator, who would report their findings to Congress. But that would never happen as long as Gonzales was Attorney General. The special prosecutor statute has run out as well. So with an executive branch doing a mad power grab over the last 6 years, there really isn't much of an alternative to Bush's claims of executive privilege and refusal to give over relevant documents and information.
