Freest in what sense? Depends how you define freedom.
Most prosperous? Depends how you measure it. Kuwait has a higher GNP per capita for example
Britain has been an evolving parliamentary democracy since the late 13th century

And as far as gay rights being in the Constitution, there are many rights held to the people that are not specifically named in the Constitution. That is what the 9th amendment is all about. |

But wouldn't that in itself admit that there is something different about them than people that aren't "gay?

I doubt whether the founding fathers had "gay rights" in mind.
