So you're admitting that Bill & Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Byron Dorgan, Tom Harkin and Howard Dean are all liars?

I'm not "admiting" anything. That's a pretty two-dementional thought there. That because I'm not with Bush then, oh I must be with the Democrats! I don't take personal offense when someone insults a politician.

Those Democrats you listed do lie. Of coarse it really depends on the context of the word "liar". If it connotates he or she who lies all the time, then no I wouldn't agree they're "liars" in that context. But if it connotates he/she who occasionally lies for personal gain. Then yes of coarse.

Its just that some politicians lie more than others.

And I think its just that we should all feel obligated to associate Bush with both connotations of the word.

I think most politicians start out wanting to make the world a better place, but they soon learn that the public really doesn't want to hear the truth---it wants someone who'll blow sunshine up its collective ass. So they give people 'pie in the sky' and tell them what they want to hear, because that's the only way to achieve power in Washington and get along with everyone else. And doing so requires lying, glad-handing, schmoozing, and otherwise playing fast and loose with the principles that they ran on in the first place.

Bush is one of the few who I personally believe ran for public office out of pure self-interest: partly because his family groomed him for it, and mostly because he had some scores to settle (Saddam) and an agenda (overturning abortion rights, installing evangelical Christianity as the state religion, and making the rich richer at the expense of everyone else). This is why I despise him, his administration, and everything they stand for.........I believe Bush is both a megalomaniac and an incredibly egotesticle (no, that is NOT a misspelling) man who is leading this nation over the edge of a cliff for his own selfish reasons. I do not think for one minute that his intentions are honorable, or that his policies are for the benefit of anyone but himself and others like him. I can only hope that his term will run out before he can do any more damage to our country's long-term economic, moral, and intellectual health, and its prospects for survival in a post-9/11 world.

I agree!
REPS&DEMS are corrupt & useless !!!!!!!!!!!

I just wonder what's it going to take for people to realize that the
Dems&Reps both are screwing up the U.S. . We have been having the
same problems for as long as anyone has been alive. And as long
as we keep these 2-parties in power we will keep having the same
problems. They are kinda like Gang Green, Sometimes you have to
cut the finger off to save the Arm.

It's time that we vote both of the corrupt, useless, anti-American
parties out of government!
That's the only way to keep them from screwing
us over!(again, and again)

120yrs of REP-DEM dictatorship is enough!!

By letting them stay in power you're letting them
know that you are too weak to make change and
that you will take all the crap they dish out!!
I for one don't opt for REP Crap over DEM Crap or
DEM Crap over REP crap! IT'S STILL CRAP!!!!!
Vote them out and start over!!

I find it amusing that when ever "NoMoreDems-Reps" posts something, he ties it somehow to the corrupt Democrats and Republicans.

I agree that we need to stop the two party system, and I agree that the country would be much better off in the hands of many other third party or independents. But I would also like to see NoMoreDems-Reps write a response to something that does not lead to blasting the Democrats and Republicans for once.
