How do you really know what the "majority" did? That is a simple answer YOU DON'T Let's also not forget that Active-Duty Military Personnel Petitioned Congress to End War; not to mention close to 60% of OIF/IEF Vets were also there...If you would like to continue to sit behind your computer and do nothing but talk shit, why don't you walk down to the nearest military recruiter and sign up...tell them that you want to be put on the first plane to Iraq; Once you spend a couple years there, then you have the right to talk shit. Oh, speaking of having "the right", military personnel DO NOT hold the right to half of the rights that you have. There is no freedom of speech! They don't have the right to speak their mind. Or maybe you don't believe that either. And for your information I was a Chief Warrant for four years, which also meant that I spent 8 years as an enlisted soldier and 4 of those years as a Staff Sergeant.

55% is a majority, right? Or isn't that the way they teach math to you kids anymore? Add to that the fact that many military votes were either rejected, or didn't arrive on time, and it's likely that the military vote was closer to 60% for Bush.

Yes it is, but it's not a big deal. It's not like there was a sweeping victory, like the popular vote like Texas. The vast majority didn't vote for him. You're playing on a half-truth, not admitting that even though it was a victory, it wasn't significant. All you're saying is "But Bus won their vote!" I can easily say a state is democratic when the democrats are elected, but it could be by such a thin margin that the state is practically divided in half. Look past the results and see the cause.

and what you fail to understand is; if 55% = counted, state side soldiers...now add in the almost 30+ thousand votes that were rejected...you can't actually tell what they really wanted; all you are reading is the bold print and nothing else. if 55% of the vote was counted and for bush and 70% was uncounted and against bush...well i think that you can add and subtract. You have no idea the actual majority rule because the whole was not even counted, plain and simple. that's like the issues with florida and ohio...of course i guess that you would just consider those 'just mistakes'.

Now... I want a link, showing that 70% of the military votes were not counted, and were indeed - as you claim - against Bush. Time to put up or shut up.
