Senator Chriss Dodd says it ain't over and has talked for a couple hours on the legislation... he says he will object to the bill being offered on the floor for a vote... guess Harry Reid will have to buy some XLax so the law can be moved along? Maybe the Senate Ethics could look into Dodd's special home mortgage deal?

Yea, Dodd's bill is on the Senate floor now on the Housing recovery bailout but no one wants to talk about it because Senator Reid is doing what he does... don't allow any input from the Republicans or put a non-related let's sue OPEC bill attached to the legislation so it's going nowhere... Housing, war funding, FISA, Doctors Medicare fees increases and the rest are all being held hostage by the Democrats so they can go home on the 4th of July half month break and tell everyone how bad the Republicans are for filibustering legislation. Reid says to Republicans get on your knees and polish my knob or I'll label you obstructionists.

It's all politics that will come to a climax tomorrow as the two parties start squirming around like a seven year old needing to pee because they want to go on vacation and have late flights booked Thursday evening... someone will fold or both parties will fold somewhat and we the people will lose.

It is a very sad day when we willingly gut our Constitution, even in the name of security. It doesn't bode well for the future.

And let's not forget that there are democratic senators who are holding out against this bill, and that it is this administration who promises to veto anything that might lead to the telecom industries being sued or held criminally responsible for the illegal wiretaps. This isn't the far left at all, it is the authoritarian Bush administration protecting itself and not our country, as usual.

I think you should be fair and in stead of just listening to the talking heads on hate Bush channels try watching the US Senate proceedings to get both sides of the debate.
