| I think that at large Clinton helped this country. He was a financial wizard and I still agree with his views and financial choices for this country. His record of accomplishments is impressive. I think he was right on his budgetary choices. I found that Clinton is part of the New World Order so I rescind my opinion of him as the best president of the last century. This group is responsible for too many travesties in our recent goverment. I will update my choice from this list in the near future. Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour There are many men of principle in both parties in America, but there is no party of principle. ~Alexis de Tocqueville | |||||||||||||||||||||

Most of em' have been... it sucks big time doesn't it? --- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope --- There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

The one common thing I see among Democrat's and even some Republican's throughout the many decades is their role on national security. Keep a strong national security, but don't abuse it. Weaken the national security, and you lose it. By all means, use the national security as a threat by it's greatness in itself to protect freedom. -RidinHighSpeeds

Sorry to be so hard on ya, but it seems like everyone has ignored the history in the 20th century, and how it has changed under the many different administrations.

| I still think my original post concerning the history of war and our economy must be reviewed here. Let me ask you this Ridin, Do you think our country is not going to suffer due to it's current National debt? I think this is the main issue here. The only reason our goverment hasn't failed financially is because our creditor can't take the house. It is like trying to sell the K mart of old as a well structured company. Maybe I am now off topic, I don't know. | It's been almost a year since this thread has been voted/replied to. I say we "bump" it so the new users of 2006 can throw in their input. | |
