Do I need to prove that wrong too? Are you even going to TRY to tell me that there's MORE greenhouse emissions coming from the United States then, say, Mexico City? Bejing? | I seriously don't get why you keep trying to make up stuff and pass it off as believable...
Just based on your say-so...
It's ridiculously and embarrassingly easy to prove you wrong when you spout off on things you are absolutely clueless on...
The US emits more, absolutely and per head, than any other country - although it also produces more wealth. When Kyoto was agreed, the US signed and committed to reducing its emissions by 6%. But since then it has pulled out of the agreement and its carbon dioxide emissions have increased to more than 15% above 1990 levels. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/3143798.stm
You're just too fricken easy!

You're just too fricken easy! | I cannot believe you keep posting here after your utterly moronic post on the Nuclear Power thread.
After that one, there is NOTHING you say that has ANY credibility. Frankly, I'm surprised you're even smart enough to run a computer. |

TOTALLY disregarding the fact that I THOROUGHLY proved you wrong.
I'll just repost it. It's just that easy... Quote: |

Trying reading before you post your drivel. It will save you embarassment - the kind of which you've garnered in the Nuclear Power thread.
Dumb. Quote: |

Can you explain ANYTHING explicitly and precisely about the situation? Quote: |

Dumb. | HOW have I embarrassed myself?
I quoted PRECISELY what you said, and proved you wrong.
And STILL all you do is keep coming back with a vague pretense of something I'm supposedly not getting.
You putting on airs of superiority is rather boring, and a really old trick that you have worn out... Quote: |

Points: 21,485, Level: 92 | Level up: 93%, 865 Points needed | | Only 2 - get that, TWO - of the top 20 most polluted mega-cities are in the United States. And those two - LA and NYC - are far LESS polluted than most of the others.
Yet you blind liberal environmentalists claim that the United States is the #1 polluter in the world - and other crap.
Call it whatever you want. It's still crap.
You CAN breathe in New York City and Chicago. You CANNOT breathe in Mexico City and Bejing. Hmmmmmm... am I seeing a pattern here? Quote: |

It's trying to change the subject.
Let's get back to the ORIGINAL statement, shall we? Quote: |

Not just one city...
And more to the point, if you're going to reduce greenhouse emissions overall, wouldn't it be wiser to concentrate on the country that is the BIGGEST offender??? Quote: |

The article EXPLICITLY STATED that the United States is the #1 polluter.
It's not a "claim". It's not "blind".
It's an UNDISPUTED FACT amongst people who don't have their head up their keister... Quote: |

You trying to change the subject?
Should other places reduce their emissions? Sure. I was never saying otherwise.
The POINT was that YOUR CLAIM of the U.S. not having bigger emissions than other cities was pure and complete crap!
And now you're desparately trying to change the subject.
Pure Hilarity!

You keep coming back with empty claims. Here, you pretend there is some "context" to your statement which I supposedly missed.
Yet you show NOTHING as to what I supposedly missed which would make your statement accurate.
Pathetic...

The United States is NOT - as Hevusa originally claimed - the "leading polluter of the world".
You're a waste of time. Quote: |
