Level up: 34%, 36 Points needed | | Bush does want to be a Dictator! I like the part that says Bush challenged more laws than all of the
previous presidents combined. And when they say challenged they
realy mean broke. http://www.rawstory.com/showoutartic...%3Fpage%3Dfull |

Morality is not contingent on religion to exist. Therefore religion only detracts from the purity of morality. |

Yep, sounds like a typical dictator to me. |

Being a Dictator would be too hard for him. He can't think on his own. Cheney wants to be the Dictator. |

Level up: 34%, 27 Points needed | | I didn't read the article so I'm probably repeating something in there, but I guess this Administration has challenged more laws than all the other presidents combined.
He won't get impeached, but maybe after 2008 we will regain some sense. Not only that, maybe the Democrats will gain some sort of spine and actually fight the Republicans. Maybe the Republicans will realign themselves with what they're supposed to stand for (not this bullshit with the religious right pandering and making the government huge). Better yet, hopefully a third party will pop up and take the best principles of both conservative and liberal ideologies and destroy them.

Level up: 53%, 72 Points needed | | I find it disheartening that so much attention is being focused upon this President and his actions. While as a Conservative I dislike the idea of anyone disobeying the laws, I also believe that there are times when even the President has the right to question the authority of laws passed by Congress that interfere with a President's explicit Constitutional powers.
While I applaud the ABA for their investigation, my only question is when will they turn there eyes towards Congress??? For years now, Congress has passed laws that apply to the citizens of this country, yet they themselves have remained exempt from them. If they are going to be our law makers, should not the laws they pass apply not only to us the people, but to them as well???? Social Security, EEOO, affirmative action, and a wide array of laws or policies established by Congressionally mandated bureaus have all be ignored or do not apply to Congress. Why no outrage over this simple fact???

How about we lock up all the muslims in the USA like Roosevelt locked up all the Japanese? How about we invoke the Sedition Act of WWI? Read that sometime if you libs think you are losing your rights. Liberals are the screech taken seriously by the ignorant. The rest of us who understand and know history ignore such babbling. |

Level up: 34%, 27 Points needed | | Alias, it really goes both ways though, so eh. I don't agree with what FDR did then, and the Alien and Sedition Acts were atrocious. I don't agree with the actions then or now.
Either way, unless we officially go to war, including the lifestyle changes that happened for the duration of WWII, I would rather my privacy intact. Even in a full-blown war I would prefer privacy over "security" that is dubious at best. I really don't believe that the NSA is limiting their tapping to only calls made to blacklisted countries. There are too many secrets floating around, and the National Security argument is complete bullshit 95% of the time.
