No, judicial power is not absolute. They are subject to the review of the Senate, and they are initially selected by the President. It is the Executive that is overstepping its boundaries.

What is a cult? Is a cult based on size? If that's the case, then it is not a cult. There are approximately 1.6 billion Muslims in the world, making it the second largest religion. If we're talking about age, it only came around a few hundred years after Christianity, a mere drop in the bucket of time. I know people that would call any religion under three thousand years old a cult. Clearly, age is not an issue. The encyclopedia defines a cult as being outside the mainstream. As the second largest religion in the world, that's hardly the case.

It is my OPINION that Islam is a cult along with numerous other Christians.

Arg, I do not like posts which simply attack someone else instead of clarifying your position. So just to be clear, you are saying that the Christian religion is superior to the Islam religion, but Christian people are not necessarily superior to Islamic people, right?

Correct. People are people and will twist and distort things in religion to suite themselves.

Christianity is totally equal to all persons and tells it's believers to love all people. Islam tells it's believers to make no friends with Jews or Christians and degrades women. Therefore Christianity is far superior as a religion to Islam.

I believe in the Jesus of the bible. What you choose to call me is your choice. People are people and no one is better than anyone else. Christianity is far superior to Islam as far as a religion goes. Read my post above.
