All I can say to you unintelligable child is you better damn well behave yourself. As for me, I don't have to worry because I am not hostile to the USA or it's coalition partners.

The legislation has one major hurdle to over come, Posse Commitatus. SCOTUS would never overturn Posse Comitatus because it very strong standings in the Constitution. These are Article III Section 3 treason laws. Congress could repeal Posse Commitatus. But that would essentially legalize treason. Congress won't legalize something a harmless as marijuana. I don't think they would be able to get away with legalizing something as harmful as treason. But these days you never know.

You're not getting it. First of all, "the war on terror" is nothing compared to a real war, you're getting confused with a struggle and a war. You can't declare war on an ideology. A real war is if the Chinese PLA landed on the shores of California. And even if we were at war, it is still illegal and unconstitutional to deny American citizens their rights to due process. And here I thought Al-Qaeda was supposed to hate freedom.

This is a "real war". It is a world war. Just because it's a different kind of war does not mean it is not a "real war". Muslims are murdering people all over the world. Iran is using terrorist groups all over the world to wage war. Do you understand that? Do you realize Iran is behind all this shit?

What is happening in Lebanon and Israel and Iraq is a real war. People are being killed and slaughtered every day. That means it's a war.

You have to be the most paranoid person I've seen. How do you sleep at night without getting scared that evil scarey Iranian Muslims aren't in your closet or under your bed? You're being fed this whole network of scare intended to manufacture consent. And you're a fine example that there are people in this country willing to give in to fear so far as to blind servitude and even giving up your God-given rights and freedoms. Terrorism doesn't have the power to overthrow this country, or even threaten our freedoms: people thinking the end justifies any means are the true threat to our democracy and freedoms. Its sad that you don't see this, even in the midsts of calling for the eradication of half of our Bill of Rights to combat the scarey terrorists.

The true war is against those who attacked us: Al-Qaeda. The Taliban also, since they did come from the same organization as Al-Qeada (Mujahidin). You seem to be forgetting that. Organizations like Hezbollah are not our enemies; they are enemies of Israel. They themselves have already stated they're not targeting the US. If we followed Reagan's logic that the enemy of our enemy is our friend, then technically Shia organizations like Hezbollah should be our allies: since they are vowed enemies of Sunni organizations like Al-Qaeda. A war against Al-Qaeda, although difficult, can be winnable. A war against "terrorism" is by all means an unwinnable war. Hell, it can't even be defined as a war. Because you can't declare war on an ideology. Doing so would be putting yourself in an indefinet state of emergency, an Orwellian state that you seem to be in support of. Always at war. Always under surveillance. Rights and freedoms under a perpetual state of "temporary suspension". To you and neo-conservatives: war is peace, freedom is slavery, and ignorance is strength.

Wrong. The true war is against TERRORISM. You don't get it. Al Queda is only one faction. The nutjobs in Lebanon and Iran are terrorists also. You better find some new talking points from the democrats.

Our government did not start this war, terrorists did on 09/11. Actually, it started way before 09/11, but we did not choose to fight back until after 09/11. What is taking place right now in the Middle East is to get rid of the religious dictators that support terrrorists like Iran and Syria. Those are the seats of terrorism and they will be eliminated sooner or later. This is just starting. You will eventually see iran be decimated. There is no other option it sounds like. The nutjob in Iran keeps calling for the extermination of Israel. You don't know who the real enemy is. You think it's your government.

Obviously I was right when I said talking to you is like teaching a dog physics. So I have one yes or no question for you and we'll be done:

Are you willing to give up your constitutional rights to combat an unwinnable war?

Yes or no. No squezing your way out with some stupid "the tarraists are gunna get yoouuu!" scare tactics that only morons like you fall for.

Your question is prejudiced. You assume that by trying to win an "unwinnable war" I would have to give up constitutional rights. Try again.

The reason you feel talking to me is frustrating is because you can't make me as confused as you are. I know what I believe and I know why I believe it and you cannot affect that. That would logically lead to you being frustrated as everyone on this forum and those lurking can easily see.
