If the President did lie to us concerning the Iraqi threat, and he was planning on going in there before 9/11(which also has been substantiated), than applying the Executive power, reserved for during war time only, and applying his method of execution of these laws, should never have even taken place. Therefore, his interpetation of said laws would be moot. This would make him impeachable.
You've already decided, Tyreay, that President Bush lied. You've already decided that he committed impeachable offenses. You've already decided that he should not only be removed from office, but tried for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

But you've done so without facts and evidence.

Why not just admit that you're a blind Bush-hater, and admit your bias. EVERYTHING he does is wrong. He's an IDIOT. You HATE him.

Just admit it.

...and while you're at it, you might want to re-think your silly little slap about me being a "neo-con". You would find that claim to be extremely wrong too.

I don't think he is a moron, I don't hate him and I do admit that I am sometimes bias. I do think he has made some bad mistakes and should be held accountable for them and this is part of the information that drives my bias. I have not seen any proof from you, and all the other Bush supporters, that shows he didn't have other information about Iraq and the actual terror threat. It has been in the news and all over the net, that he did in fact, have reason to doubt the source of the claim Saddam had a WMD program going(the spy was a nut case for one reason). It is also a verified fact, that he had other intelligence from the CIA pointing to the fact that there was no such program, which he choice not to share with Congress or the Senate before a vote was taken to go into Iraq. All facts. Why don't you admit that it is you who has already made up his mind that Bush did none of this simply because of your predetermined Love for Bush. Your writings, that debate my stance, smack of Neo-conservativism. I would suggest that you don't come up with wlid Neo-moronic theories like 'the Democrats are trying to divide this country', if you would like to be veiwed differently, by everyone here.

1. Of course you haven't! But think about that statement - it's self-contradictory.
2. Total BS. I have two sons who are "draft age" - so don't EVER be such a dumbass as to assume I've got no interest in what's going on in Iraq, or that I'm just blindly supporting something!
3. This is an election year. The Democrats are ABSOLUTELY trying to divide the country. It's divide and conquer - which is the same thing the Republicans are doing.
4. I LOVE how you presume to be speaking for "everyone here". Something tells me you're NOT - unless by "here" you're referring to you and your wife - both of you being far-left liberals. In that case, it's obvious why you both hate me.

WMDs was only one reason for taking out Saddam. He should have been taken out in 1991, but Bush I made a mistake and gave in to the UN crowd. What we ended up with was a terrorist funding nation who starved his people while paying terrorist families thousands to sacrifice their sons and daughters.

Democrats are the ones dividing this country. We were attacked by terrorists and the war is on terrorism. There happen to be terrorists all over the ME and that is why we are there. You want our soldiers to fight with one hand tied behind their back. You want our soldiers to make sure they don't break any laws, while the enemy has no such barrier. Bullshit.

Neither party is doing anything to unite us. Its not just the Dems.

Bush lying to Congress the Senate and the American people to go into Iraq is the the point. The other reasons were not used by Bush so this has nothing to do with what we are talking about. More double talk and subject changing.

Please show me where I said anything to indicate I want the soldiers to fight with one hand behind their back. This is the bullshit.

3. Please show me where I said anything to indicate I want the soldiers to fight with one hand behind their back. 4. This is the bullshit.
1. Agreed.
2. That's YOUR opinion. John Edwards, on the Senate Intel Committee, had the same information.
3. You're confused. Perhaps deluded. I don't even know what you're talking about.
4. I assume that that is a commentary on the sentence immediately preceding it. And I agree.

All 4 points mean exactly what I said.

Do you think I'm only able to read what YOU write?

The ancient Greeks used to say, "You shall know a man by the friends that he keeps." Given the nature of their friends and advisers, what are we to conclude about the Republican party:
Stop the madness before us it stops!

You know child you are like a broken record. If it is as simple as ABC, please share with us what under the US Code Title 18 Section 2441 President Bush has violated????

I give you a little help, having read all the articles of the Geneva Convention, as well as the Articles of the Hague Convention, I can say with quite certainty there has been no violation of the Hague Convention. So that leaves you with only the Geneva Convention. So I await your response.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles
