I didn't say he was an extreme conservative. I said replacing the first woman to ever serve on the Supreme Court with a white male is a step backwards in the progress of our democracy.
Yes, I know you didn't say that, I was referring to Tadpole's post.

Plus, I don't think a white male is a step backwards towards democracy, if he does a good job, what does it matter which race or sex he belongs to?
Godbless, Tadpole.

I agree completely with you. I am just very very apprehensive of this guy's ability to be fair.

Agreed...Who cares if the person is a he or a she, asian, or whatever. As long as the person nominated is good for the job. I've heard all but good things about this man. So I think he made a good choice.

Good point, I'm glad we can agree on something (finally).

Actually I feel very similar to you on quite a few war issues as well. I think we mainly disagree on points of how to protect the american people, and what is more important, safety or freedom.

To be honest with you (and I don' admit this easily) I think you make some good arguments from time to time and I think you are an intelligent guy. Just wrong a lot .

As long as we remember that this is a Political DEBATE forum, and at the end of the day we all remain friends, that's what is important. Politics and Religion are always dangerous debate subjects.

This guy is sooooo bad! He can not be allowed to teke the seat, he will set back women's rights so far. God what is it about White Conservative Christian men that makes them feel they have to impose their will on everyone else in the world. People should keep their religion to themselves. We can not afford this set back. It should totally be a black woman, there are plenty of black female candidates who are so much smarter and more level headed than this kook.
