When quotes do not serve your purpose you can quickly forget them or choose to ignore them. "Bush lied" is easier to believe when you ignore the fact that everyone was on the same page way back when. Your quotes are
living and lasting proof of this fact but when it doesn't fit your mind set it
is simply ignored. Bush lied, Bush lied, Bush lied. As Hitler said, if the lie is big enough and repeated often enough it will be believed. "Elvis lives"

eh I might have to disagree...

I've heard of many voter fraud complaints just from the Democrats. Since the Democrats gained seats in the house and senate this year, they have no reason to complain. Now, let's say the Republicans held their control, would the Democrat's have complained about voter fraud?

Possibly? Yes.
Definitely? Most likely.

Those quotes are from the late 90's. The UN inspectors were on top of it before the invasion of 03. The Bush war only proved this fact.

Of course, this ignores the indisputable FACT that Saddam HAD WMDs and that he HAD USED THEM.

All he had to do was comply with UN Inspections Mandates, and he wouldn't be looking at the hang-man's noose.

The inspectors had been everywhere. They had a confident overview of what Iraq contained. Bush ignored this completely because (in my opinion) he had a different agenda. Saddam had not used WMDs in recent times. We should have gotten him on that during the first Iraq war in that case.

The Democrats will have a hard case for impeachment of the President regarding the intelligence leading to the Iraq war. Why do I say this, simply because of the fact that if they impeach the President on this matter, then they must also impeach the members of Congress in both Houses that made public statements based on the intelligence, including Senators Levin, Kerry, Clinton, and Byrd.

The intelligence was incorrect, yet not only did the President believe that it was correct, but so did members of Congress, the United Nations, France, Germany, Britain, China and even Russia. While the slogan Bush Lied and People Died is catchy, it is also untrue.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles
