I think it's pretty clear that if Perot hadn't run - then quit - then jumped in the race again, Bush #1 would have been re-elected. Lots of disgruntled Republicans voted for Perot.

Also, as you know... a "landslide" of the Electoral Vote does NOT mean that it was a landslide of the Popular vote.

My speculation...
- We would never again have heard of Bill Clinton.
- Al Gore would still be in the Senate.
- George Bush #1 would have been followed by another Republican President in 1996.
- We would have had a Democrat voted in as President in 2000.
- He would have been replaced by a Republican in 2004.
- George Bush #2 would never have been the current President.

It is real easy to find the vote count state by state in 1992. I looked at it and just a swing of a few thousand votes in some key states and Clinton would not have been president. You ask any political pundit and Perot is the one who cost Bush I the election.

YOU were the one who made the claim.
YOU PROVE the claim.

It's amazing how many times you ask me to prove a variety of my statements, but when I ask you to prove something you said you just ask me to "look"...

You mean any CONSERVATIVE political pundit?

You mean any CONSERVATIVE political pundit?
It seems everyone in the universe knows it except you.

Ahhh yes. Logical fallacy: "Appeal to the masses"...

Except Alias has no clue what "everyone in the universe" thinks. He just claims that they think a certain way, with no presented proof.

And this is yet again typical of Alias's ploys. He is challenged to prove something, so he claims that "everyone" knows what he claims is true, with no substantiation.

Pathetic. Predictable...

And Bill Clinton was elected President with the LOWEST percentage of the popular vote IN HISTORY.

Interesting...
