How do we know if the Senate would or would not have confirmed. He was never brought to the floor for an up or down vote. Why should the President be forced the leave a vacancy open, or someone else in a job that they no longer wanted to hold, because the Senate would not do their job. We will never know whether of not he would have been confirmed, so I am sorry but that is a lame argument. You don't know, truth be told, we could pretty much deduce that because he would not be brought to the floor for an up or down vote, his opponents in the Senate feared his confirmation, why else would there be a reason for not having the vote.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles

Because there was not enough time to give it proper debate and fully investigate the man perhaps? Jesus, your arguments get weaker and weaker. You can't call his argument lame then follow up with an empty impotent argument of your own. The Senate was never given a chance to do their job, this President manipulated the system and you know it

Bolton's nomination was sent to the Senate on May 12th, the Senate recessed on August 1st. No time??? What a load of crap and you know it. Its not my argument that is weak but rather yours. Pull your head out of your fourth point of contact!!!!

The Senate had ample time to do their job, but didn't. Know the facts before you make the assumption that my argument is lame.
