Corporations represent greed over empathy. Unions stand up for the rights of the common worker.

Sorry if you can't emotionally understand the difference you robot republicans.
Give me a break. Corporations are the sorce of millions of jobs around the U.S. Is it not their right to make profit from their business? No, of course not. I would much rather be a robot than a pansy.
Give me a break. Because we have no socialized health care corporations are the loop whole to worker benefits. Profit over humanity? NEVER you greedy republicans.
Yes, it is a sad world when people choose greed over humanity but it is the corporations right to make profit. The left fears big business, nothing unusual.
Yes, it is a sad world when a handful of people become greedy, and ignore the humanity of the working people or those living in poverty. You think opression and exploitation don't exist in modern America? Is everyone in the world as complacent and blissfully ignorant as the average, middle-class Wal-Mart shopper?

I garuntee you, there's a good number of people out there living in constant worry over the availability of jobs--jobs that don't pay shit, companies that don't offer benefits, supervisers that abuse and yell at you, a workplace that's guarded by military police to protect the interests of a few very rich men. The only jobs they can find are the jobs that lower them to slave status.

Why?

Because global capitalism is system-sustaining; foreign investors don't give a shit about workers' rights, they just want to make their business partners happy, they want to boost the numbers on their own paycheck. Business is business, some win and the rest lose, right?

So what if corporations have the 'right'; white plantation owners had the right to own slaves, but that wasn't right at all. Slaves try to escape their oppressors on a daily basis, but our honorable minutemen run them down right when the taste of freedom hits their tongue, and suddenly, they're in the back of a Border Patrol van headed back to the irons.

Black people walk the streets as (almost) free citizens these days, and America isn't an abomination created through the perverse will of the black community. But still the world is an abomination created through the perverse will of the ruling class.

But unions often time hurt the people that gave them an oppurtunity to become a union in the first place.

Nothing unusual because it is sensible.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

What's all this talk of "opportunity"? The opporunity to be a pawn in the hierarchy of the capitalist system? The idea, in this country, is that if you work hard enough, you can be whatever you want--but it seems that those who work the hardest are stuck in jobs that don't recognize their creativity or their potential as humans, it only recognizes them as a means of production and distribution.

Only because the people that worked as hard as they did started the company that they work for, the people that start a company should always be payed ALOT more than those that they choose to hire.

It's not a question of how well the boss gets paid, it's a question of how well his workers are treated. The working class isn't the ruling class, just in case you didn't know. They're doomed to the lowest standard of living right above your average bum--scraping by with enough to pay the bills and for this week's groceries, working overtime to pay rent on time so they don't come home to an eviction notice in their mailbox.

Tell me, why shouldn't they demand benefits? Why shouldn't they demand better pay? Why shouldn't they unionize?

Because their boss could afford business school? That's a bullshit answer.
