Right after Bush's great speech, they moved to the Democrat's Response and they were just bashing the administration. Harry Reid of Nevada said the Bush administration is like the movie groundhog day where Bush says the same stuff over and over and over again. Then they went on talking about how the democrats have a better plan protecting America and fighting the war on terrorism than republicans. They also talk about how Bush's plan to fix the social security system is wrong and tax cuts for the rich is wrong. Then they talk about how the troops support the democrats beliefs,etc...Too bad that the tax cuts for the so called "rich" which are mostly small business owners, proved to work. There was just too much demogog after the state of the union.
Well it is true that we bashed Clinton during his state of the union... |

He mentioned about a couple of weeks ago that Bush is most likely going to mention his new plan of privatizing accounts. When this happens democrats will attack him and the globe, ny times, cbs,nbc,cnn,etc... will treat these attacks as if they were right out of the bible. The democrats think the SS system is there system and no republican shall ever change it! So the attacks come abroad.
Good luck to the blue senators in the new red states because next year there careers are going to be destroyed. They can only blame themselves for there demagog. |

Well it is true that we bashed Clinton during his state of the union... | Bush does tend to repeat the same crap time and time again only to never do anything or propose anything. We do have a better plans for protecting America and fighting the war on terror. For example actually doing those things. Social Security wouldn't be in any danger if Bush's tax cuts had worked or if we had invested the surplus in social security like THE DEMOCRATS WANTED. I'd say the fact that we have growing deficits and spending, fewer and fewer jobs available and around eight million Americans out of work is proof positive that the tax cuts didn't work.

The only reason why the dems had a surplus in the 90's was because they kept spending social security money. Um I don't believe that is fixing Social Security. |
