Yes, we should blame the media. But we should also quesiton why our government would pass laws to allow media consolidation to such a great extent. It is very suspect.

A large number of people are against media consolidation and have made steps recently (http://www.commoncause.org/site/pp.a...MQIwG&b=192086) but the battle is ongoing and the consolidation has already reduced all media to 5 corporations.

The fact that the dems and reps get to more or less decide what parties get media coverage during election debates should tell us all we need to know as far as our democracy is concerned. You guys agree?
