The funding doesn't get cut.

But it does all for MoveOn.Org - and all its drones - to make a big stink and froth at the mouths like there's some "vast right-wing conspiracy" going on here.

When are people going to THINK?
No, the whole point is, the President asked for Trillions for the Iraq war and he is cutting into education, and other government funding, to bring his deficit down. Do you find this statement untrue? Its not.

And just for the record, you could actually be charged by the authorities for your posts about MoveOn in this thread. Especially now that you basicly admitted, by lack of any evidence whatsoever, to back your statement, that the petition and MoveOn are a fraud.
Its called slander. Or do only certain laws apply to you, Jeff?

If you think I can be charged by MoveOn.Org - then go ahead and call them.

I'm protected by my right to freedom of speech.

So I'll say it again: MoveOn.Org is a CRAP RAG! If they printed their material, I wouldn't use it to wipe my butt. It's nothing different than RushLimbaugh.com - except on opposite ends of the political spectrum.

Hah, your debating tactic here is laughable. I ask you for proof for some of your broad insinuations and you respond by basically saying 'you can't handle the truth.'

I've never seen you post conclusive evidence of those insinuations. Of coarse I've always seen your opinions and interpretations, but if it truly is proof then I can't really argue with it now can I?

If you were in court attempting to prove your defamation of these organizations, right now you would be getting laughed at in the face.

Okay you little dink, for the umpteenth time, here's ONE link to ONE of MANY websites that proves the bias of people in the media. Enjoy it - again...

This is just sad.

Come back to me with valid proof; not the rantings of a website who's stated mantra and purpose is to be "the leader in documenting, exposing and neutralizing liberal media bias".

It's almost as valid me attempting to prove communism works by providing the link to the website of the Revolutionary Communist Youth Brigade.

All you have to do is look at how the journalists/reporters vote.

Of course, that's probably too much to ask of a genius college student, isn't it? Somebody who is SO immersed in study and learning should NOT be bothered to actually READ.

The ad hominem isn't necessary. Grow up.

I'm aware of many of the statistics on how the media staff vote. But this is irrelevant data in attempting to prove the media bias specifically in the reporting. And it is definitely irrelevant to media bias in NPR and PBS specifically.

I'm aware of the statistics, and I've studied them before. What I've seen is that the voting habits of the majority of the national media is liberal. But also what I've seen is that there is little to no evidence leading us to believe that these beliefs affect how they report the news. Any liberal undertones in CNN and public broadcasting are very settle, and are way more than offset by the obvious conservative bias of the vast majority of talk radio and of Fox News.

That's what I've seen, but you've obviously proclaimed to have conclusive evidence otherwise. I still have yet to see it.

One name: Nina Totenberg.

Now... come back again and tell me how unbiased NPR/PBS is.

Was does "indited" mean?

Sorry - I didn't go to NYU or Pratt, so I don't have the same fancy vocabulary of you Ivy League boys, lol.
