Defending the Truth

It seems republicans just want more power. Less taxes, less goverment, etc. But the problem is not everyone is "smart with there money". If republicans are going to be office for years and years to come, I can see that poor/rich gap just increasing. Everyone should have a chance to live a good life. Today we are seeing a lot of people becomming poor and a very few becomming rich. It is just going to get worse.

I hope you mean power to the people by this. If not, you are a very confused individual.

So I'm guessing the completely selfless democrats like John Kerry do not care at all for the political careers and gaining power. All they care about is helping the little guy right??

The problem is the republicans only care about themselves and never care about other people. The little guy is hopeless when he/she sees a republican in office. Sucks

I'd disagree I'd say the two parties just have two diometrically opposed methods of how they feel the best way to help strengthen America.

Republicans: You can do it little guy and we are here for your support and if you need a little help we are able to help you, but we know deep down you have the will power and strength to do this.

Democrats: Look you can't do this and you don't have the strength so let us do everything for you and make you depend on us so you can never overcome all of your issues and have to depend on handouts and welfare all your life..

Republicans: You can do it little guy and we are here for your support, as long as you know your place(beneath us), and if you need a little help we can act like we will help and tell you everything will be better then deny you of any help you may need because that money could be better used to fund a new war that will do nothing but make it so that some of your brothers/sisters/neighbors/loved ones don't come home.

Well, I'm glad to hear that your brother served his country and made it back. He was lucky. Others were not so lucky. If you are a poor college student..why are you a republican? I have to ask because you are not in any tax bracket that will benefit from the tax reform. Also, please don't tell me that you are nieve enough to believe that this country will not be bombed again.
