If you think the guys waiting to jump in a truck make $10 an hour you are insane. Most of them work for less than minimum wage, no benefits. Or why else would they be standing on the side of the road to pick up any random job that pulls up?

Your assumption makes little sense. The people making $10 with benefits are the ones with fake SS #'s. Not those on the side of the road. They are looking for cash for labor... no questions asked.

The cute little table that Hevusa posted means virtually NOTHING. It's talking about AVERAGES. But what it does NOT talk about is whether said "income brackets" are based on gross total income, net income, taxable income, net taxable income, after-tax income, and/or filing status. It says virtually nothing.

Wow... you people are so easily duped! And you're also green with envy. It's not a good combination.
Liberals love numbers and graphs. I can do a lot of magic with a graph and some numbers.

Look you have poverty and illiteracy in your country. I don't understand why that is not ABSOLUTE TOP PRIORITY to fix?

It most certainly SHOULD be when you are the most economically power country in the world.

IF so then how does reducing taxes help ANYBODY. Heck i think the top 1% in the US should pay an extra 10% in taxes. It's not going to fling them into poverty. It will make them make slightly less profits. But if you're making a couple of hundred thousand a day then 20k less in PROFITS ( not EXPENDITURE btw) is no big deal. And since your administration refuses to spend money on healing and teaching people and rather in bombing oil rich countries, it seems that any tax cuts reduces funding for social programs.

10% increase in personal income tax does not reduce the motivation to make a couple of 100 k a day. It does not make the people poor. It does not affect business because it's personal income tax. And it ensures that your citizens are living the life they deserve.

For the MOST part, it's a result of CHOICES. They're working hard and making GOOD CHOICES, instead of sitting on their lazy butts making EXCUSES.

THEN WHY DON'T THE COME TO WHERE THE JOBS ARE?

I keep telling you that there is a packing plant, in the city where I live, where STARTING WAGE IS OVER $10 PER HOUR, PLUS BENEFITS.

80% of the workforce is Hispanic - even though we're over 1500 miles from the border of Mexico.

If THEY can get here and get the jobs, why can't lazy white people and lazy black people get across town and get the same jobs?
