First off let us clear up one inaccuracy. There is no such thing as a corporate of business tax. It is a myth created by liberals to play their game of class warfare.

Corporate/business taxes are not paid for by the corporations/businesses, rather they are paid by the consumers who pay a higher price for the products offered. Consumers pay the taxes not the businesses, everytime a corporate tax is lowered, that decrease is passed on to the consumers, everytime it is raised, we see increases in the price of items. Again it is a myth, plain and simple.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles

That is funny. I own two corporations and just sent a fat tax check to the government for taxes. Unfortunately most of it will go to our empirical military to secure oil instead of helping the people that form the base of our society.

That myth of yours sure hurts my mythical wallet.

Smaller government. Power to the people.

The government should be much less involved in our daily lives, and should not be so quick to regulate everything that comes down the pike. We should also not be so quick to give hand outs to every bleeding heart who claims that they too need assistance.

That 'empirical military' defends your right to dislike them so much. You ought to show a little more grattitude. The sacrifices we ake don't come from our precious wallets.

Thats right... Larger Government = Less power to the people, less rights, and less freedoms.
And Hevusa..how can you still claim the size of the federal government has nothing to do with how free the society is??...
\"It is the soldier, not the reporter who has given us the freedom of speech.
It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag,
and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag.

The size of the federal government is inversely proportional to the amount of freedom the country has. Big government is intrusive, and oppressive.

As it is we are already watching privacy die, how much else are we willing to surrender?

I think our soldiers have become a joke in the eyes of the world. And I think anyone who would risk their life to defend such a corrupt government is either completely blind to it or has a screw loose.

It is more important what the government is doing rather than the size of it. Even if it was HUGE but doing the right thing for the people I would have no problem with it.

I think our soldiers have become a joke in the eyes of the world. And I think anyone who would risk their life to defend such a corrupt government is either completely blind to it or has a screw loose.

Now let me explain something to you pal...

First off our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines compose the finest and best trained military force the world has ever seen. They are most certainly not a joke. And if you think someone who loves the country which provides you the very freedoms you excercise so much, has a screw loose because of thier willingness to die for it than I say you are a coward sir.

Death will eventually come to us all. I for one would rather die defending something I love, something greater than myself, greater than us all, than to die old and alone. No, our government is not perfect, but it is the best this planet has seen. The true greatness of the American system comes from the fact that it is dynamic and ever changing. It is a system steered by the people. Whether we like what is going on or not, it is happeneing because of the expressed interests of the people. The fact that most Americans are too lazy to avail themselves of the Democratic system we enjoy, is not a flaw with the system, but rather a flaw with the people. It is a flaw that come with the complacency of time. Something you are so clearly demonstrating in your ingnorant post.

The American people have become so complacent in the safety and freedom that WE (the military) so humbly provide that they are no longer willing to fight and die for it. It has become so ubiquitous and expected in our daily lives that we no longer realize how precious a dream it is, we no longer hold it dear. No we take advantage of it and use it like a whore. But as soon as the time comes to defend it people like you would rather stay SAFE and COMFORTABLE at home, while REAL AMERICANS are ready willing and eager to go and do thier duty wherever it calls.

I speak on behalf on Nurses, Teachers, Police, Fire Fighters, and the U.S. Military when I tell you to go to hell sir, if you want to criticize me for choosing to serve my country. I do not love those I defend, nor do I hate those that I fight, but I do love the principles on which this country was founded.

Just because you may be too much of a coward to risk your neck does not mean the rest of us are. And what the hell is so precious about your life that you are so concerned with losing it anyway? Is it not meaningless if it is not spent dedicated to something greater than you, whether that be service to country, or your god, or research to benefit the greater good?

Americans have never been a group of people that abide cowardice sir.
