Which just goes to prove a point, that when government gets involved, the program fails to work. Corruption, misuse of monies, overspending, and the list goes on. Have you ever noticed how the government will award a contract to someone to perform some service, or build something, and then the next thing you know, lo and behold, the business underestimated the cost and the government immediately pays more.

The private sector does not work that way. If you and I had a contract in which you were going to build something or perform some service, and suddenly you found that it costs more than you bid, you are liable to complete the services as the terms of the contract specify. If you don't I can take you to court and have you ordered to complete the project or return my money. Hmmmm now there is an idea, make government work like the real world. Naw it will never happen.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles

Isn't it supposed to be the Republicans who fostered the famous "Culture of Corruption"?

Where are all our local liberals now?
Where's all the screaming and yelling now?
Where are the DNC apologists now?

It just proves a point: When there's no whining and crying about the Republicans to do, all the liberals disappear.
