The bottom line is that YOU don't know JACK CRAP about farm subsidies, do you? You're just another spoiled, rich college kid who has far more opinions than brains.

Why should farming be exempt from this fabulous free trade that you espouse for other industries?

Why should we pay farmers BILLIONS in welfare each year?

Yes yes, avoidance again. When will you EVER learn to stop spouting off about things you know NOTHING about?

- American farmers are NOT allowed to compete on a level playing field.
- American farmers' commodity prices are at the whim of politicians (do some research on what your hero Jimmy Carter's embargo did for crop prices).

I've given both you and Kitty Kat several opportunities to expound on what, exactly, the farm subsidies are. NEITHER of you can come up with ANYTHING.

Bottom line: You don't know JACK CRAP about farm subsidies. Neither does Katzinsky. Both of you would do well to keep your ignorant blow-holes shut about it.

The funny thing Jefferson is neither have you.
All you have done over and over again is tell Kat and myself that we don't know about farm subsidies.
But when YOU are asked to explain why they are needed, all we get is the two vague sentences above. That's it.

So are you going to edu-ma-cate us on subsidies or not?

Actually, my personal position on farm subsidies HAS NOT been stated.
I'm just observing the hypocrisy of others who support WELFARE for farmers, and yet oppose it for other workers...

So which is it?
Are YOU going to whine when the government helps the people (farmers), or are you going to whine when the government helps the people (non-farmers).

I'm NOT making a claim about Farm Subsidies. YOU and KITTY KAT have repeatedly called them "Farmers' Welfare".

I've called on both of you to prove it. To explain what farm subsidies even are. To give examples. To provide evidence of what percentage of the USDA budget actually goes to Food Stamps.

NEITHER of you has explained ANYTHING.


Your absolute lack of knowledge on this topic means that you should BOTH keep your ignorant mouths shut. When YOU claim that farm subsidies are "welfare for farmers", yet you absolutely cannot back that up with any evidence, you are being a stupid, ignorant jackass.

This, of course, is nothing new.

Welfare is a government gift for doing nothing. Farmers do not fit in that category. They work hard and produce a product. The analogy makes about as much sense as we would expect from the source it came from.
