Human Rights Watch is absolutely correct that lethal injection is inhumane. However, its reasoning is wrong. Lethal injection is inhumane because it lets the murderer off too easily. There really is only one fair and just method of capital punishment, and that is for the murderer to be put to death in exactly the same manner in which he or she did in the victim. If murderers are to be shown mercy when they are executed, then the least they could do is show mercy to their victims.

What in the blue blazes do you mean by "Next"??

Dude you did not at all respond to what was said.. It seems that everybody YOU think should be executed better get fried double quick.

What it sounds like is that you believe that the US judicial system IS infallible and therefore the first verdict is the correct one WITHOUT FAIL.

Ok let's say we remove all methods of appeal. How would YOU ensure whether a person is guilty or not?

the system of appeals is not perfect. But it is there because the first verdict is also not always perfect. So how about evaluating the SYSTEM rather than the guiding principle behind it. Th guiding principle is JUSTICE. That's why the concept of appeal exists. To ENSURE that the decision of the courts is JUST.

hahahahahahahaha... man ur a riot.. Like a true conservative you attack persons rather than issues. But i guess that's why us fruity liberals live a less pissed off life.

but comedy aside i'm still waiting for a reply.

I say you are right about the appeals court being a festering pool of litigation in which many a criminal goes free.

However how does denying EVERYBODY the right to appeal solve ANYTHING?

All systems have a fail-safe measure built into them. That is a good thing. Your gun has a safety doesn't it? Just because the safety jams on occasion, does that mean that all guns should be made without safety catches? Or do you think that it would be better to design and work a NEW and BETTER type of safety?

Same thing with the appeal courts. Don't remove them because that would be removing the safetynet that innocents require and have a right to. Instead a thorough vetting of legislative procedures and litigation would be the smarter course. No need cut down the apple tree because some of the apples have worms in them.

Quote a previous post of mine, where I stated this clearly, then come back and ask me to repeat what I've already said.

If you have no idea what I've already said, don't dare tell me what I think.

Then do me a favor - or Pakistani mind-reader...

Tell me EXACTLY what I think about Capital Punishment for minors, based on anything I've written to that exact topic.

Until then, save your breath.

I'm not quite sure dear friend. It was hard to find your argument amongst the name calling and personal attacks.

Then why are you telling me what I believe, what I think, and what my stance is on this issue?

Read before you write.
Because i seem to have been under the mistaken assumption that you had couple of grey cells intact.. If you WOULDN'T think that guns should have better working safety hatches, then you are unintelligent.

And dear friend i don't think you're unintelligent.. i tihnk you are a pissed off man bitter about many things and so you resort to mudslinging and personal attacks on people. Don't you see that actually LISTENING to somebody and CONSIDERING changing your mind is sometimes a better way of learning than bullying people into silence which you can then take as assent?
