Okay, for a serious moment: Are you going to tell me that you cannot read - and see - Hevusa's open hatred for all things religious?

I would not put it that way nor would he. I would say my understanding of hev's opinion is that he believes the negatives far outweigh the positives as far as the role religion has played in human history. I'm not really contesting that though I will say that he provides sound evidence to back up his claims. Even then, if he does hate all things religious, at least his hatred of religion is universal. A racist just hates one race, or every race besides their own. That is much different.

What is more important is that I called you out for doing something completely inappropriate and suggested you apologize to hev. You replied with a mockery and again only showed your lack of character and intelligence here.

Below is the definition of a bigot - which Hevusa fits perfectly, based on all that he says about religions.
Hevusa is an intolerant bigot. Period.

Why don't you ask him or wait for him to reply? I was saying what I thought his opinions were. As far as I know, hev has no religion. Therefore he is fundamentally unable to be a religious bigot because if he hates all religions (and he can not be partial to his own because he doesn't have one) then he does not fit your definition. I still think we should wait for him to speak for himself though.

This still doesn't change the fact that your justification, at least in this thread, for calling hev a religious bigot is made simply by SUBSTITUTING YOUR WORDS WITH HIS. I thought this was utterly wrong and probably one of the stupidest argumentative tactics I have ever seen. If you are indeed a person of character and intelligence, you would admit that you were wrong and perhaps make a concession to hev, if not apologize. Instead you continue to either make yourself out to be a person of low character and intelligence, or you are actually one. You continue to make the decisions for yourself.

If hev claims to have a religion, I will admit I'm wrong. So we'll let the jury decide on that one.


Oh, is that the issue now? Oh I'm sorry, I missed the notice that I was never supposed to post in this thread in the first place. I also missed that you and hevusa were having a private conversation where no one else could comment on either of your posts.

Sometimes you dig real deep for your accusations, like when you called hevusa a bigot because if you replaced where he said "Christian" and "religious" with "negro" and "black", he would be called a racist and a bigot. You know but I guess that really doesn't matter because now I have no right to even make comments anymore.

To answer your question bluntly, I'm concerned about it because it was wrong and extremely stupid. It would be nice to maintain a certain level of intelligence at DtT but people like you continually bring it down.

It is true that I do not have a religion, I'm agnostic. I merely pointed out an inconsistency in the morality of killing in the Christian religion.

It obviously stuck a nerve seeing all the pissing and moaning in this thread.

I believe that everyone has the right to freedom of religion and I will fight to defend that right. But we also have freedom of speech which allows me to say that any knowledge about the existence of God and what God may or may not want is a lie (which I think is true for athiests as well).

You spew constant hatred of all religions - especially christianity.
