ROFLMAO!
When it comes to homosexuality, I HAVE GIVEN examples of discrimination.
When it comes to religion, WHERE is your example of discrimination?

All you're doing is whining about "hate"...
You don't like Hev's opinion? Get over it.

I don't give a crap about what your opinion against homosexuals is, as long as it's not enforced in law.

If you can't comprehend the difference between REAL discrimination, and whiny Christians, then you're wayyyyy lost...

I give you number 4 but otherwise the other three statements he made are reflective of actual trends in Christianity, at least among Americans. Unless of course you are claiming that the Christian right is both for abortion and gay marraige. Then indeed hevusa is wrong. What is more of the problem is that you can not provide any other proof of hev's alleged bigotry beyond your simple analysis of some of his statements, above are four of them. You have not gone to much legnth to prove this point at all. This suggests two things to me. Either you know you're wrong and are just trying to get a rise out of all of us for your own personal amusement, or you simply do not have the ability to go beyond your opinion to prove that hev is a bigot. If you don't have the ability, that means two things: either you lack the intelligence to address this issue or (and a more likely answer in my opinion) the evidence is not there to prove hev is a bigot. He already said he does not have a religion, so I was right in saying he does not fit your definition of a bigot. If he has no religion, he has no religion to be partial to over all of the others. You may think he only feels this way about Christianity, but I think that is simply wrong. It certainly comes off that way, but that's because when religion enters the fray in these threads, Christianity is the most relevent. After all, most of what we talk about has to do with America or Americans. Christians themselves boast how much the religion plays a role in America and Americans' lives.

Read his posts.

Anytime anything religious - christian, muslim or otherwise - is mentioned, Hevusa will ALWAYS have nasty things to say about religion and religious people. Period.

Read it for yourself. But if you're not capable of doing that, I guess I can go through and get some quotes. Of course, you're not going to "get it" even if I do that.

No one can know God. That is why I state that those who claim to know anything about God are dishonest. I know it isn't fun to see that when you look in the mirror, but it is the truth and I value honesty.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

Yeah. Sure. Okay.

But when you claim you're an agnostic, you're claming you cannot know. So when you bash all the religious folks, you just might be bashing people who are right - making you both wrong AND stupid.

So how honest is THAT? And shall I add "dishonest" to the fact that you are a "bigot"?

I might be but no one knows, including them, so it is honest none the less.

Exactly...as your definition pointed out, an integral part of being a bigot is that you must HAVE a religion (since we're talking about religious bigotry here) to be PARTIAL TO. You know what, fuck it, I think this way will work a lot better.

1. A religious bigot hates and discredits all religions except his own, which he is partial to.
2. Therefore, you must have a religion to be a bigot.
3. hevusa does not have a religion; his dislike for religion is universal.
4. Therefore, hevusa is not a religious bigot.

If you can not discern the logic here, you are an idiot.

Atheism/Agnosticism is every bit as much a religion as Hinduism or Taoism.

Discern the logic, idiot?

No, not whatsoever. The negative forces of religion that hevusa dislikes are not present whatsoever in atheism/agnosticism, even if you can purport to call them religions. If you want to just throw around the term now, fine. I don't know what it is but for some reason it can not be settled just to call hevusa strongly anti-religious. He has to be a bigot because he hates all religions impartially except for the religion of non-religion.

From dictionary.com: BIGOT
Quote:
One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.
Is agnosticism a "group"? Yes, absolutely.
Is agnosticism a "religion"? Yes, in that it is a "belief system".

Can agnostics be bigots? Yes, obviously - insofar as some of them are intolerant of those who differ, as is Hevusa.

Is Hevusa a bigot? Yes, as evidenced by his disdain for, and bashing of, all other religions.

What are you, Hevusa's girlfriend?
