Christian right intensifies attacks on Obama

Terrorist strikes on four American cities. Russia rolling into Eastern Europe. Israel hit by a nuclear bomb. Gay marriage in every state. The end of the Boy Scouts. All are plausible scenarios if Democrat Barack Obama is elected president, according to a new addition to the campaign conversation called "Letter from 2012 in Obama's America," produced by the conservative Christian group Focus on the Family Action.
The imagined look into the future is part of an escalation in rhetoric from Christian right activists who are trying to paint Obama in the worst possible terms as the campaign heads into the final stretch and polls show the Democrat ahead.
Although hard-edge attacks are common late in campaigns, the tenor of the strikes against Obama illustrate just how worried conservative Christian activists are about what should happen to their causes and influence if Democrats seize control of both Congress and the White House.
"It looks like, walks like, talks like and smells like desperation to me," said the Rev. Kirbyjon Caldwell of Houston, an Obama supporter who backed President Bush in the past two elections. The Methodist pastor called the 2012 letter "false and ridiculous." He said it showed that some Christian conservative leaders fear that Obama's faith-based appeals to voters are working.

If I had three wishes:

1. To separate myself into two beings.
2. Have one of me sitting next to James Dobson on election night if Obama wins.
3. The other if Obama should succeed, with Sean Hanniity.

I'd give them both a big pat on the shoulder and the smuggest smile I could muster as I watch them have a total emotional breakdown before me.

Obama would cause exactly what is discribed in the first post and the concerns are just! Please don't look to far into Obama's future should he win because he's a dead man walking.

I'd bet he will lose and that is about the only thing that can save his life and our country.

If Obama wins, the indoctrination of young children in to the gay lifestyle will become mandatory. Special camps will be built and our children hauled off to the to learn about gayism and to become gay themselves. What a frightening senario.

Gay activist claim they have rights to force their values on others using executive order 13160 signed by Bill Clinton. This order has been used to bash faith based groups.

The "Gay boy scouts" should be created in the interest of fairness. Most of the present initiation rituals among the boy scouts are gay in nature anyway - they always involve removing your clothes.

My primary concern with Obama is the fact that he has chosen to have an "open to the public" event at Grant Park on election night, and that it will be attended by people like Zack.
