Yea, I heard we broke the 3500 mark a few days ago. Also you can't forget to mention all of the Iraqi civilians who have died since the war began. (65,000-70,000)

Iraq Body Count
The most conservative estimate ever (only out-conserved (?) by the official white house estimates themselves). If I'm not mistaken, Iraq Body Count only tallies death estimates that make the front pages in international news. Scientific estimates corresponding with one-on-one interviews and polls estimate at least over a half-million Iraqis. Either way, however, one death is one death too many.

That would be the Lancet survey, they estimated that about 655,000 Iraqi civilians have died because of this war. This count is the most liberal estimate of the civilian casualties of this war.(If you consider the Iraq Body Count's total to be a conservative estimate.) That number just seems too incredible to be true, I mean are Iraqi civilian deaths that underreported? That numbers just appears too be to far out there, the next highest estimate I could find came from Iraq's Health Ministry, which reported that between 100,000-150,000 Iraqi civilians had been killed since the war started.
