| That is what worries me the most, I guess. See, the number one priority of the Secret Service is to protect the sitting government - the president in particular. With all this early campaigning going on, they are being pushed to the limit trying to protect all the leading candidates. In other words - the campaiging of certain individuals this early puts undue strain on the men and women of the Secret Service who already had their hands full, as it was. To be more frank - it's times like this when some major traumatic incident could very well take place and jeopardize our nation's security and well being even further.
I just hope that the leading presidential candidates for 2008 are taking that into consideration. . . Be still, and know that Dog I am. |
