This is a just a sad situation. I can't understand the "bathroom" thing. And the "signals" and "codes" that go on. Is it really that organized?

I've never been involved - but, in the age of the internet, I'm sure there is a fairly well-known routine

I "understand" the bathroom thing - I think it's incredibly UNerotic - but I understand it

for many many decades, being homosexual was against the law. Gay men found that public bathrooms and parks, etc., were safer than just cruising the streets to find sexual partners. I suppose it was fairly obvious if somebody was hanging around in a public bathroom for more than 3/4 minutes, they weren't in any hurry to leave. It's sad, pathetic, and - to me - a pitiable scream of loneliness. But I understand it.

Not to mention - it's not as if STRAIGHT people don't have sex in public bathrooms, parks, etc.

But it's not like a woman hanging around in the men's room isn't gonna raise an eyebrow though. Or vice versa. I don't think it happens among straight people in the same way gay men do it. A man hanging in the women's room at the airport would get arrested.

frankly, I doubt there are more men having sex with other men in public bathrooms, than there are straight men having sex with prostitutes in public areas including bathrooms.

I think it's sad. I think it's unfortunate. I don't think it should be illegal. But, I'm more compassionate than some about the loneliness and frustration of some of our fellow human beings.

Well, while working at the stadium some years ago, one of the fans had sex with a woman in the women's head. As he was being arrested, he said, "Well, I got what I came for." Uh, ok.

I'm not gonna start another one of "those" arguments. But if heterosexual vs homosexual sex was going on in bathrooms at a rate corresponding to the population, there would have to be a LOT more incidents of hetersexual sex going on. Not to mention that it's just free sex, not even prostitution. Folk just meeting up to have anonymous sex. Even if it is just oral sex, that's just risky.

I don't, do you? But with soo many reports of cities having to close down public facilities because of male cruising, you would have to wonder. Women just don't usually hang around public restrooms soliciting like that. At least not a women you would WANT to solicit. Any woman that would want to do that kind of stuff would probably be ripe for arrest for drugs. Especially at the airport where the last couple incidences have occurred.

Even prostitutes have a room somewhere. I watched HBO.

they don't PUT cameras in women's room.

they don't TRY to catch straight people having sex in public. they don't spend MONEY on it.

I know of several public parks that have had sting operations to catch gay sex participants - in parks where it is VERY common for straight couples to have sex.
