EXACTLY.

I've always said that I hope my parents spend every last dollar they have on the very last day they live, doing something exciting and fun for them.

I actually kinda almost mean it.

Leave it to Gary who always bring up his crazy argument about human-animal marriage. He feels that it is okay for a dog to marry a cat. And leave it to Gary who always feel that animals need to give their written consent before submitting to surgery by a vet. Arnold the Pig on Green Acres had a beautiful style of writing.

You bet it is. For the life of me, I don't know why he thinks like that. One can't argue with a tree.

I'm sure she had a very good lawyer to lock the thing up airtight
Actually, I don't think Harry had any children so, therefore, he had no grandchildren. The grandchildren here are her son's (and only child) children. As their grandmother, she leaves them whatever she wants. And that includes nothing at all.

You're 99.9% correct. The only time that children (and children ONLY) inherit from their parents is when the children are minors (under either 18 or 21 years of age) and children will also be able to inherit from their parents when the parents do not have a will and from the grandparents also when there is no will AND when the children's parents are also dead.
