Has Rush ever served in the military? Of course not.

The dude has spent most of his life in either:
A radio studio.
A doc's offcie trying to get opiates.
A divorce court.

This dude is so far removed from any reality or the actual day-to-day life that most people live, I can't fathom how anybody can take anything he says seriously.

Riddle me this and riddle me that what to Moveon.org and MediaMatters.org both have in common??? Funding by George Soros. Lets seem Moveon.org was condemned for its ad about General Petraeus, calling him General Betray Us, before even uttering a word. Hmmmm, remarkable how they knew what he was going to say before he even said it.......

But Soros got his hand smacked and now he wants pay backs. No one seems to remember that even the soldier that Rush was talking with on the phone agreed with his statement. So I guess that soldier doesn't support our troops as well, right.

Who the heck is defending the lie Clinton told?

This thread is about Rush Limbaugh, based on current events on what Rush Limbaugh recently said.

And you are bringing up Clinton to try and side-track from what Rush did.

I guess in some people's book, two wrongs make a right...
... or at least a diversion to ignore what's happening in the here and now.

Just out of curiousity, will you start jumping up and down on what Clinton did after he's dead?
Is there an expiration date on that tired ol' rant?

I responded to a comment made about how people can defend Rush, with a rhetorical question of my own, to show how utterly ridiculous the original comment was.

I an not trying to side track from what was said. Nor has anyone seemed to want to call the soldier that Rush was talking to on the phone unsupportive. The soldier made a comment regarding the soldier that were being interviewed, in which Rush said, the phony soldiers, and the caller immediately agreed.

All we have is one organization trying to make up for the censure of another organization. Media Matters only concern in this whole debacle is for Moveon.org. One Soros funded PAC trying to protect another.

Sarge, what I REALLY see you doing is comparing ONE ridiculous defense to another.
The people who defend Clinton "I did not have sex with that woman" are ridiculous and their arguments absurd.
And since you use it in this Rush thread, I guess you're saying that Rush's defenders are also ridiculous and absurd?

Again, I am struck by the fact that you are comparing things which I believe you find repugnant, to the Rush Limbaugh situation.

Does that mean you find people who defend Limbaugh to be akin to the type of thinking as found in "Moveon.org"?

Here are the facts about Rush Limbaugh and the "phony soldiers". He was referring to Jesse MacBeth ( he never got any further in the military than basic training ). Rush was referring to him and others like him. Then Media Matters deliberately took "phony soldiers" out of context and made up a story that Rush meant all soldiers who opposed the war. Nothing could be further from the truth.

No, I was attempting to show how ridiculous was the original comment. However, in the original post their contempt is feigned whereas mine was not.

I stated the facts, one organization trying to make an issue about an inncolous statement to save the face of another. I am not comparing the defenses, that is why I made the statement about the caller who was a soldier, that agreed with Rush. Obviously for making the statement Rush was thought to be demonizing our troops, therefore according to this ridiculous charge, then so should the same be applied to the caller, the soldier. For is Rush is guilty, then so too must be the caller who agreed with him.
