also they enclosed to us about a boy being beaten in a learning center who was striped down also. so enough with this torture. that shit happens here so please take it and stuff it.

Level up: 53%, 72 Points needed | | Oh yes right out of the mouth of former President Jimmy Carter. That wonderful leader of this great country that saw us waiting in lines to get gas, double digit inflation, double digit unemployment, and 52 American Hostages held for 400 plus days. He was so effective doing his job that he carried only six states and conceded the election before Candidate Reagan had a chance to attend a dinner on the night of the election.
Yeah, we should trust good old Jimmy the peanut farmer. He needs to go back to doing something he was good at, building houses for the poor, and otherwise keep his mouth shut. All that hot air is contirbuting to our global warming crisis.

If we didn't just know it instinctively, haven't we seen enough photos?!

So you are saying he is wrong and we don't torture prisoners?

Level up: 53%, 72 Points needed | | I am sorry, but putting someone in an uncomfortable position, keeping them awake, blaring music, forcing them to endure different extremes of temperatures, and even water boarding are not torture. They may make an individual uncomfortable, however, they do not cause severe pain or suffering, which is the international law definition.

Quick! Attack the messenger!!
Hell. I almost want to attack Carter because he's slow on this one.
The fact that we've been torturing is OLD NEWS. GENEVA (AFX) - Washington has, for the first time, acknowledged to the United Nations that prisoners have been tortured at US detention centres in Guantanamo Bay, as well as Afghanistan and Iraq, a UN source said.
The acknowledgement was made in a report submitted to the UN Committee against Torture, said a member of the ten-person panel, speaking on on condition of anonymity.
'They are no longer trying to duck this and have respected their obligation to inform the UN,' the Committee member said.
'They they will have to explain themselves (to the Committee). Nothing should be kept in the dark,' he said.
UN sources said this is the first time the world body has received such a frank statement on torture from US authorities. US acknowledges torture at Guantanamo; in Iraq, Afghanistan - UN - Forbes.com
Is there any real surprise?
Our government considered a vote on banning torture, AND REJECTED it.
