Well, who here feels which candidate has the better health care plan?

I might not know all the facts, but it looks like Obama seems to have the better idea here, i dont see the logic in forceing people to have one and then fineing them for not affording it.

That's the boat I am in. I lost my job (and insurance) back in July. I am eligible for insurance on Jan 1st from my new job. I rolled the dice and opted out of cobra (almost $1000 a month for the family plan.) MA has made insurance mandatory so by not having insurance by 12-31 I will pay a $247.00 penalty on my taxes.

Talk about being in a place between a rock and a hard place. That's not fair.

Based on that article, it sounds like Obama has a better grasp on reality then Hilary does.

He says 'people don't have insurance because they can't afford it, not because they don't want it'. Right on the button!!!! Then to give penalties to people who can't afford it, well, that just isn't right.

Those who can barely afford insurance, would not be getting very much out of it. Just a very high deductible, like at $5K for starters. I certainly won't try and buy that kind of insurance.

With the holy war between Obama and Hillary, what do you think would sell you as a main reason why you would vote for one of the two, not to mention the others like Biden and Edwards.

If one can really convince me that he or she would come up with a better health care proposal, that might work. But once they get into office, if elected, they had better follow up on it so those who depend on the new president don't get neglected.
