Huckabee's numbers fall in Iowa as Immigration Record Spreads

Huckabee's numbers fall in Iowa as Immigration Record Spreads

January 2, 2007

Contact: William Gheen of ALIPAC, press@alipac.us, (866) 329-3999

The opposition to Mike Huckabee's touchback amnesty plan and endorsement of lone Minuteman Jim Gilchrist by 84 immigration enforcement organizations is taking a toll on the Huckabee campaign's polling numbers while radio ads, phone banks, talk radio shows, and bloggers against illegal immigration spread news of his true stance and immigration record.

Perhaps the headline should read, "Huckabee's numbers fall in Iowa as Christians wake up!" asking themselves, "Do we really need another liar in the White House claimimg to be a Christian while he continues to lie about his record as governor in Arkansas?"

shoot - I was hoping he'd get the gop nomination - because he's NEVER gonna be president

Conservatism: Self-centered mean-spiritedness fueled by ignorance and misguided self-importance.

Bigotry is a social disease.

Legalized same-sex marriage almost certainly benefits those same-sex couples who choose to marry, as well as the children being raised in those homes. - David Blankenhorn is president of the New York-based Institute for American Values and the author of "The Future of Marriage."

Of the crowd we got, he's got just as much chance as anyone. We Clinton(baggage), Obama(racial and experience concerns), Guiliani(smarmy lying, ethical issues), Romney(religious concerns), I could go on. It's really any one's race. Huckleberry is no worse or better than the rest. If all they really have on him is he's a Christian and might support amnesty which seems to be common,
Currently, all Democratic candidates support amnesty for illegal aliens, which is unpopular with a super majority of American voters. ALIPAC has identified three GOP campaigns as pro-amnesty... McCain, Giuliani, and Huckabee. While Romney, Paul, Hunter, and Thompson remain on the no-amnesty list at this time, their campaigns face future scrutiny on the illegal immigration issue.
they gotta do better than that. No one running has any real selling points.
