Because McCain isn't conservative. Nor is he a Ronald Reagan. But hell, even Reagan wasn't Ronald Reagan. If you fear McCain is just playing to the crowd and when he's President he'll actually raise taxes and pass an amnesty bill for illegal immigrants, then he's already got two things in common with the Reagan administration. At least for conservatives McCain won't "cut and run" out of Iraq like Reagan did in Lebanon.

Lebanon was a peacekeeping mission. The two are not the same.

I think McCain has the best chance of beating either Hillary or Obama, unless they join forces as a Clinton/Obama ticket.

And I think we may yet see a McCain/Huckerbee ticket too.

Huckabee did pretty well for himself last night. I figured he'd win 1-2 states yesterday, but he took Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas, West Virgina and Georgia! I'd really like to see how far he's going to go in this primary lol.
McCain's a warmonger with Alzheimer's who's gonna start WW3 and Obama's a secret Muslim and a socialist who's gonna turn the US into a third-world country! -Failtards

In terms of dollars-per-delegate Huckerbee is way out in front!

Romney must be furious!

I was just talking with a friend about if Romney would settle for the VP....
You think he won't be asked or think it's President or nothing for Mitt?

I'd guess, Romney has more money than McCain or Huckabee; however, Huckabee is holding his own against Romney and McCain has a commanding lead in the delegate count.

I was shocked at how well Huckleberry did last night. He's doing quite well for himself IMHO.

Both. I think Romney's attacks have been his downfall

But I think Huck would go for McCain's running mate if asked. Those two have been careful not to cross swords and have always said nice things about each other.

Would Huck be the first bass-playing VP in US history??
