Why should they change the rules in the middle of the game? Florida and Michigan knowingly broke them, I don't see why they should be rewarded by being the key states that end up determining the nominee. And they would have to hold a reelection in at least Michigan anyway; just more money spent on this divisive contest and not on the general election against the Republicans.

They have to change the rules because the situation has changed. Had there been a clear nominee after Iowa or Super Tuesday it may have been different.

Even so the people of Florida and Michigan deserve to be heard. And it's ludicrous theat the so-called Democratic party is trying to stifle democracy.

The US is already a laughing stock - giving itself the title of Land of the Free on one hand whilst conducting all these arcane, disjointed, unbalanced primaries and caucuses, and then using an electoral college system which makes South Dakotans 22 times more important than Californians.

Meanwhile Bush as the gall to criticise Russia for its electoral practices!

It's time both parties held primaries in all 50 states on the same day

first off all in the article it mentioned jennifer grandholm. that left a bad taste in my mouth. first o f all at her state of the state adress which will probly b her last one coz it was mentinoned that she plans to follow HIllary/billary to washinton. let it b know she has put michigan in such a bad state and some most of the policis she has are very idiotic and not working for this state. michigan has a diverse vote it will b first the white working class men and some minotories who will vote for her as with woman. but the muslim vote seems to b more to obama.
i'd like to meet a mad neocon man coz once you go neo you don't go back. M
