Whenever the media hears something about Wright and Obama, they go into a feeding frenzy, don't they.
BTW, I enjoy watching and listening to Sean Hannity. | I cannot comment on Sean Hannity. CNN is my preferred news source; so I've never watched Hannity. But you are correct, H80. They are in a feeding frenzy every time Wright's name is mentioned. And this is because Hillary is grasping for straws now. She must try to turn back the Obama tide by trying to seperate him from a major voting bloc-White America. And this is her best chance.
Soon, we will all be forced to come to the realization that when you pull into a gas station to pay $3.25 (or more) a gallon for gasoline; Jeremiah Wright is not part of that equation! These are the real issues facing America! And this is why Obama hasn't lost his support. |

Clinton people who are stuck on this Wright issue, and especially those who consider voting for McCain because of it, really are overreacting and need to get their heads out of their asses or something.

Well the only contact I know they've had was when they, with Jesse Jackson , traveled to Syria and Libya in 1984. They went there to rescue a captured US Naval pilot, a successful mission which garnered them commendations from then Pres. Ronald Reagan. Jeremiah Wright - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

BREAKING NEWS: Obama's Pastor offends once again!!!!!!!!!!!
An article from Dec ember 1992 is the newest target of controversy, wherein the Rev. Jeremiah Wright lashed out against Hispanics. In this article, supposedly about church cleanliness, Wright said "I love seeing a church that's spic-and-span in the morning, and just as clean when the day is done. It shows that folks are still respectful of God's house, even if they don't want to visit every Sunday." The racial slur "spic" is considered offensive to the Hispanic community and has prompted outrage amongst many in said group. No one representing Wright was willing to comment on this most recent controversy.
BTW, I enjoy watching and listening to Sean Hannity. | Ummm, congrats? lol
Wednesday I watched Hannity and Colmes, they're still going on about Wright LMAO.

I don't know what Farrakhan's feelings are towards the Hispanic community.
But when one considers the events in Los Angeles, such as a case where a Hispanic gang member, who is in the country illegally and who got out of jail a day earlier, guns down a gifted African-American student three weeks ago, I hope there won't be a gang war between the Hispanic and the African-American communities. Ummm, congrats? lol Yes, indeed.
Wednesday I watched Hannity and Colmes, they're still going on about Wright LMAO. | Well, Wright started his mess. Surely Hannity and Colmes won't help him clean it up.

Actually Wright didn't start this mess, and neither did Hannity for that matter to be accurate, he merely give the "story" wings. Some nuts on Youtube took a few snippets from a couple of Rev. Wright's sermons and took most of what he said out-of-context in order to defame Obama by guilt by association. Then Hannity dove for it and after about of week of bleating, the story took off.

Let's see:
-The falling US dollar.
-The rising national debt.
-Ever-expanding trade deficits.
-Oil @ over $100/bbl.
-Gas @ over $3/gallon.
-The war in Iraq entering its 6th year with still with no end in sight.
-Cheney tells Americans: "So?"
-Osama bin Laden is still alive.
-The borders still aren't secured.
-Democratic party still warring over the nomination.
Meh, those are just fluff stories lol. It is absolutely vital that we must be aware of evrything Obama's former pastor has said or done that might offend someone. Even if the statements aren't that offensive and the words are taken out of context. (Sarcasm)

Clinton people who are stuck on this Wright issue, and especially those who consider voting for McCain because of it, really are overreacting and need to get their heads out of their asses or something. | It's called desperation, Kat. Let us try to scare the voting public into thinking that this man is evil incarnate. And since Obama attended the same church; he must be evil incarnate as well!
I'm still surprised that Hillary has yet to figure out the true picture. Jeremiah Wright is not the reason so many jobs have been sent overseas. He is not the reason we are spending 15 billion dollars a month in Iraq and getting nothing back for our efforts and sacrifices of our brave men and women serving there. He is not the reason why foreclosures are at a record high; and will keep climbing.
Hillary's campaign had better learn very quickly that the American people see the constant harping on Wright as actually her inability to see the real picture. And if you can't see the real picture; how can you claim to be able to solve the problems within the picture?
I have to agree with a former Bill Clinton adviser- Dick Morris- who had a piece in the Washington Post last week saying "nothing short of Obama's being in prison for a felony crime will help Hillary now".
By the way, Obama picked up two more superdelegate endorsements today. The floodgates are about to be thrown open, and the flood of as-yet undecided superdelegates will begin streaming into the Obama camp. |

There are still some diehards that just haven't figured out what the real question was in the first place.
Okay, one more time, people: Refer to Mike's list in his post I've quoted and please explain to me how any of this can be directly traced to Jeremiah Wright. You can't; but these are the things really hurting you now in your lives! How much more time do you want to spend kicking this dead dog of an issue? It's good for news copy; but that's about it!
And Obama's numbers should be screaming at you that those very issues are what America has on it's mind-not Jeremiah Wright. Heck, I'd be willing to bet three years ago that most of us didn't even know his name!
As long as people spend their time talking about him in the Clinton camp; is just more time for the undecideds to start booking passage on the Obama ship. Senator Bob Casey of Pennslyvania threw his hat in the Obama camp with his endorsement earlier yesterday. So did Patrick Leahy of Vermont. Chris Dodd did also. These are three very influential endorsements added to Bill Richardson's earlier in the week. The handwriting is on the wall and Jeremiah Wright didn't put it there! |
