I tell you what, that's not an easy fix. It can make people's lives worse. They payments could be higher than stated on the website.

I think if anyone wants to remortgage a house, they should call a bank, not have a company like CashCall contact them.

I just posted that to show those APR's. I didn't want to start an entire thread. Those rates are insane.

No, you did it right. That's what this thread is about, FX. Not to worry.

And you are right. The rates are insane indeed.

That is very expensive money!

Strange how the less able you are to pay the more the banks charge you!

It's like they want you to fail!

I wondered the same thing when I was a bill collector. We jacked up the people with messed up credit's interest rates, and then when they were late, they pay MORE in interest AND late fees, bounced check fees, repo fees, etc.... It's insane. But then again, why would you buy a Lexus at 20% interest. Dumas.

All of you are correct. FX said it: There is no foreclosure fix. But the only true answer to helping America is to start introducing some real financial education in our school ciriculuums; and weed out some non-essential ones. And the sooner we start educating ourselves in money and credit; many of these problems can be reduced on the individual's end.

I agree with you. In the midwest like Kansas or Missouri you can get a beautiful home for $180,000. not on the coasts where you get a crackerbox for that amount. and your taxes are sky-high. I do not feel sorry for all those dopes who bought above their means.

well, they have a choice. do not use credit. nobody is forcing anyone to take out a mortgage and anyway why do they have poor credit?

Don't forget most of the midwest states are heavily subsidised by taxes from the big states. We pay to repair the damage from the tornadoes, floods, snow, ice and hurricanes that wipe out your redneck mansions every year.
